How to wear your makeup when wearing a mask.
Under the present circumstances many of you may be struggling with keeping your makeup looking it’s best whilst having to deal with wearing a face mask. Many women confess to not wearing any makeup underneath or being put off from doing so, as it can cause irritation and spots.
We don’t have to worry so much though about our makeup ending up being a complete mess if we follow some simple steps and prep our skin correctly.
Complexion Prep.
Try avoiding heavy creams and moisturisers. Give your skin a better canvas for your makeup to adhere to.
Try a serum instead, as it will allow your skin to hold up to 1000 times its weight in moisture. This will help your foundation to wear better throughout the day.
Consider the best foundation for the day. Lightweight liquids or powder foundation will work better, remember less can be more sometimes.
Highlighting and contouring can become heavy on the skin, so opt for powder based formulas. Highlighting your cheeks with a variety of tones and finishes will give you a glow and won’t transfer as much as cream based products onto the mask.
