More than a quarter of women in the UK have said that after being stuck at home during the recent lockdown has left them feeling older according to research. (These findings come from new digital marketplace Glowday, which conducted a survey to gauge interest in aesthetic treatments among UK women post-lockdown).
At Strands of Spalding we have had feed back from our clients who felt as though they had let themselves down by not sticking to everyday beauty routines. The lack of social outings and plans to get made up have left a lot of us losing our motivation when it comes to self care.
It is reported that within the 25 to 34 year old category 44% of women stated that the Covid-lockdown had notably aged their face. As a result 43% would now consider an aesthetic treatment.

20% would consider other injectables such as fillers or threads
While others are keen to try microneedling, chemical peels and other laser treatments, many of these treatments can boost your confidence but at what cost?

Many high-street brands will claim to work miracles but our advice would be to do your research and find the right products for you. Salon brands will contain higher percentages of the right ingredients and this is because you will be able to have a consultation to make sure your using the right products, making the results more affective.
